⁣Η Ζαχλωρού είναι ένα μικρό ορεινό χωριό της Αχαΐας χτισμένο στο Φαράγγι του Βουραϊκού και βρίσκεται περίπου στο μέσο της διαδρομής του οδοντωτού Διακοφτού - Καλαβρύτων. Βρίσκεται σε υψόμετρο 623 μέτρων και απέχει μόλις 10 χιλιόμετρα από την πόλη των Καλαβρύτων.⠀
⁣Χτίστηκε στα χρόνια της Τουρκοκρατίας από περαστικούς, οι οποίοι ήρθαν κυνηγημένοι από τα χωριά της Ηπείρου στην Πελοπόννησο, δίνοντάς της ένα όνομα που στα Σλαβικά σημαίνει «πίσω από τα βουνά» (Ζάγκλορο)⠀

⁣Zachlorou is a small mountain village of Achaia built in the Vouraikos Gorge and is located approximately in the middle of the route of the jagged Diakoftos - Kalavryta. It is located at an altitude of 623 meters and is only 10 kilometers from the town of Kalavryta.⠀
It was built during the years of the Turkish occupation by passers-by, who were chased from the villages of Epirus in the Peloponnese, giving it a name that in Slavic means "behind the mountains" (Zagloro).⠀
