Serene Suite is an open plan studio for 2 in the heart of Mitakata Village. My name is Helene, myself and my partner Billy have lived on Kefalonia since 2021.

We have renovated the guest house on our property, keeping within the traditional stone houses but offering a modern twist. The property is surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and is in a very quiet and secluded location, but yet only 10 minutes drive from the capital of the island, Argostoli. Billy and I will be here to welcome you and ensure that you can relax, unwind and re-charge your batteries.

We are in the village of Mitakata and 5 minutes drive to the Olive Lounge, Il Borgo and the Kastro Cafe. In the other direction, 5 minutes drive and you will find Taverna Hersonis and The Old Time Cafe.
We have the peace and tranquility of a rural village but have fantastic places to eat, right on our doorstep!

It's a warm one today!

With the treaty signed on 17/29 March 1864 between the three Powers (England, France and Russia) and the Greek kingdom, the Ionian Islands finally passed to Greek rule on the 21st of May. Our island will be celebrating the Union of the Ionian Islands 🇬🇷

The school children will march and there will be music and speeches in Argostoli and most of the larger villages.

Happy Name Day to all including those with my name Helen... in Greek translates to Eleni

We are opening our doors very soon for Summer 2024.
So looking forward to welcoming our guests this year.
We have some availability left for August, September and October but if August is what you'd like, don't leave it too long, there's only 9 nights available from 11th.
3 nights - August 30th until September 1st and September 18th for 7 nights.

We have availability in October - 1st until we close our doors on October 17th.
