Start of Autumn and what to do with ou plethora of figs?SIKOMAID a delicious spicy "fig pie". Handmade this year at Del Cielo using sundried figs fermented with
fennel seeds, black pepper, aniseed and ouzo! I also added some cinnamon.
Ideal as part of a meze and with a hard goat cheese or charcuterie, also elevates a salad of mixed leaves.
Fir the health conscious high in phosphorus, B6, Bi calcium, potassium and fibre.
