The space
While you approach this eco-friendly* house from the road, you will be welcomed into the Entrance Garden. Once through the front-door, you enter the house into the Vintage Mykonian Chique Design villa’s Living Room that can easily host up to 8 persons in its lounge area. The Living Room connects to the Sunset Balcony, the Fully Equipped Kitchen, the Mezzanine/loft Bedroom. The Sunset Balcony offers Magnificent Aegean Views and can host your outdoors breakfast, lunch and dinner while enjoying the sea, the sky, and the sun! The Mezzanine Bedroom is an interior balcony of the Living Room and can be used as an additional semi-private bedroom that sleeps up to 3 persons or as a reading/meditating room. Lastly, for this level, the Fully Equipped Kitchen is sinked into the Living Room and… you guessed it! It is fully equipped and ready to be used either by you, or by a private chef! If you follow the stairs to the lower level, there you will find the Seating Area that can host up to 8 persons and acts as a second living room that connects to the 3 Bedrooms (Where the 2 are double bed bedrooms and there is 1 with two single beds), the Sunset Garden and the Lower-Level Bathroom. The Sunset Garden is ideal to sit and unwind, sunbathe, play games, read, picnic… anything really! And since it is connected to the Seating Area, it is its extension. The house has a total of 150m² of indoor spaces and 180m² of outdoor spaces.
*The house has some eco-friendly features since:
1) - It does not need air-conditioning to lower the temperature during the summer because of its architecture and engineering and,
2) - it does not have a swimming pool (Mykonos is an arid island //and the winter of 2020 and 2021 had very little rainfall// and a private pool on an island with so many extremely beautiful beaches just a 10 min ± ride away is not healthy for the planet on a macro level but also on the local level. The Sunset Villa is located in the most Western part of the island. The area is called “Poulí”, which means Bird. The area is incredibly quiet which makes it the ideal place to recharge! There is parking space on the road outside in front of the property for 2 cars/4 bikes. Also, note that the island is quite hilly and the access to the villa is a bit of an adventure :) Getting around is best done by car, because of Mykonos being hilly and its busy roads! There are no public busses in the area. So, a car or bike is highly recommended to explore our cosmopolitan Island with its beautiful beaches, shops, restaurants, bars, and night clubs Mykonos has a lot to offer!
** Just let us know if you need assistance with car/bike or private transfers. We are happy to arrange that for you and your car will be waiting for you at the Airport or Port! Other things to note
The house has all the necessary major appliances (well equipped kitchen with stove, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, Nespresso coffee maker, washing machine and ironing equipment. You can even enjoy your favorite movies on Netflix, on our LG 42 inch HD Smart TV ;)
* If there is something particular that you need, do not hesitate to ask us! Also note that cleaning, towels, bed linen and tourist tax are included in the price.
** For a 7 days stay at Sunset Villa Mykonos, there is a midweek cleaning with change of linen included in the price. For any additional cleaning you can make a request
*** Lastly, if you wish to have some things stocked in the house before you arrive (Food/Drinks etc.), please let us know! We are happy to arrange that for you, for a reasonable cost :)
