This is quite a … the day after our wedding we sailed to with some of the wedding crew. In fact we were taken sailing by our friends Hortense and Mathieu on their glorious Forlane6 🥰 ⛵️ Definitely one of those days to remember forever 💙

Today we are jumping with this sweet family Wendy, Mark and Ava from Manchester 🇬🇧 The two weeks they spent with us were full of fun activities and memorable moments. Cooking class at Odyssey 🧑‍🍳and a dinner together afterwards 🍹was one of the highlights. There were some lovely get togethers at our patio with 🎸 and singing 🎶 . Wendy celebrated her 40th and Mark arranged for her a sunset boat ride with 🎂 and🍾 They also enjoyed a magical evening at a chamber music concert at the foothills of Methana 🌋 and an adventure in Devil’s Bridge we will all remember 🫣 (what goes on the tour stays in the tour 😉). Most importantly we feel like we made new friends 💙 Till next time guys!

Our guests - friends Amelie and Konrad 🇫🇷🇵🇱 🇬🇧visited Live Bio for the 3rd time in summer ‘23 (and certainly not the last! 😊️). We sailed twice, had a great adventure hiking Devil’s Bridge and Methana, explored Ancient Mycenae and Nafplio, and spent lots of time savouring great food, drinking Greek wine and singing together 😃🥰 Great memories! To be repeated 🤗

The past 7 weeks have been quite a ride… Our little girl came to the world a month and a half earlier, tiny but healthy and strong. She’s turned our life upside down 🙃 We definitely gained even more respect and appreciation for parents, especially moms who are doing this on their own. Wow, you are true heroes.

Our friend Maria is one of our most regular guests (and oldest friends) 🥰 Maria is Greek 🇬🇷 living in Sweden 🇸🇪 for many years now. We had some memorable moments this time round including a fabulous sailing day to Hydra ⛵️ and a crazy hike in Devil’s Bridge 🧗🏻‍♀️ (with a scary moment that Magdalena and Maria will probably remember forever 🫣 😌). And this past season we shared another big adventure together (biggest yet probably🤰🏻👶🏻). From now on the annual visits will be slightly different 😉

The Iwaszko family 🇵🇱 are of course regulars at Live Bio 😊️ So much so that whenever Ignacy and Pola visit their auntie and uncle, they also visit little Maria whom they’ve known for a few years now (since baby-hood basically 😄). Pola and Maria (jumping here together 😄) are literally inseparable. And it doesn’t matter they don’t speak the same language, they’ve learnt to communicate with each other despite that barrier 😉

Apart from a loooot of pool time with the kids jumping and fooling around, they also had a great visit to Devil’s Bridge, a fun ride on the little Poros submarine and a great day in Nafplio (finished with ice-cream 🍦 of course 😌). See you next year dear fam!

Hey hey Jack and Izzy! 🇬🇧 Happy to be jumping here with you 😃 Third time with Jack actually, who came to Live Bio twice before as a young boy with his parents and this time he wanted to show and share the Live Bio experience with Izzy 😊️ We did plenty excursions together including Devil’s Bridge 🌳, Mycenae 🗿, Nafplio 🏰 and Methana 🌋 All so much fun 🥰 Hope we see you guys again soon!

Have you visited the Bourtzi castle in Nafplio? It was under renovations for a long while, but it is now possible to take a small boat across to see it 🛶
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It was built by the Venetians in the 15th century to protect Nafplio from pirates and invaders from the sea. During the Greek revolution against the Ottomans (who occupied the country for centuries) it was captured by the Greek soldiers and used as a strategic point in the siege of the city. After Greece regained its independence, Bourtzi served various purposes including as a prison and a residence of the executioners of convicts from the castle of Palamidi. Then in 1930 it was transformed into a high end hotel with 12 rooms and a restaurant. And now, beautifully restored, it welcomes tourists and visitors 😊

Our favourite thing about Bourtzi is to see the city of Nafplio with its towering Palamidi fortress from a completely different perspective 😃 🏰

This was a LE-GEN-DA-RY and very special jump (-ing) for our dear friend Roland 🇦🇹 40th birthday party! 🤩🙌 We have been friends with Roland and his wife Tish 🇨🇩🇿🇦 for many years, since our time living in South Africa. There were friends joining from all around the world! His name is Filemon (Filimonas in Greek which basically means loving and lovable 🥰) He just looooves cuddles and tummy scratches 😃 Hatulka is having a bit of a hard time befriending him, but he is not giving up and follows her EVERYWHERE all the time 😁 Ok fair enough, might be a bit intense, don’t blame her for wanting some space 😁 Things are getting better though everyday, we even caught them snuggling together in the same kitty bed #livebio #kittycat #kittylove #greekcat #catsofgreece #Poros
