RHODES ISLAND Rhodes Island is part of the Dodecanisos region belonging to the Greek State. A group of 12 islands located on its eastern borderline, Rhodes is the largest and found on the southern edge of the group. Known from antiquity as the home of the great Colossus, this bronze statue was considered as one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world. Though it does no longer exist, it was believed to have straddled the entrance to the port of Rhodes. After a turbulent history and many invaders, each leaving their distinctive imprint, Rhodes joined the Greek state after the Second World War. The modern capital of Rhodes surrounds the Medieval City which was declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The largest and best preserved of its kind in all of Europe, the “Old Town” is a “must see” while visiting Rhodes. It offers a unique blend of old and new with its’ medieval structures and variety of shops, restaurants, bars, etc. WHO ARE WE? We are a fairly young, family run business that caters to privately run tours on the island of Rhodes. Many years of experience in the tourist field is the base that supports this venture. Our aim is to make your vacation memorable and want to come back for a repeat visit. WHAT DO WE OFFER? Mainly: Transfer from/to the airport, port, hotel etc. at competitive prices Privately run excursions on the island for small parties of up to 8 persons by chauffeur or guided by licensed guides Additionally: Sea/air tickets to other islands Daily cruises to the closest islands of Symi and Halki [guided or escorted]. Luxury yacht cruises of one to three days Weddings We make and supervise special arrangements for lunch or dinner for small or large parties to suit your tastes. Shopping trips to Rhodes for specific markets and requirements WHAT IS OUR OBJECTIVE? There have been countless remarks from guests pointing out how impersonal and faceless the usual tours are. We understand how annoying it is to have another 30 or so tourists on your heels at every turn and an impartial guide being distracted by the sheer volume of the group. After many years’ of experience in the in-coming market we now have the knowledge to offer an ideal package to our guests. Our “small” private groups provide the personal and familiar service our guests are looking for. Our tours are run on a first name basis; our guide/staff takes an interest in your needs and provides those extra bits that make a trip a long-lasting memory. We want to meet you and personally do our best to satisfy your every wish and expectation.
