Την φωτογραφία την γνώρισα στην ηλικία των 20 ετών, όταν αγόρασα την πρώτη μου φωτογραφική μηχανή. Ένα χρόνο αργότερα, αποφάσισα να εξελίξω την σχέση μας, φοιτώντας σε μία σχολή φωτογραφίας.
Εκεί είχα την τύχη και την χαρά, να διδαχθώ και να συναντηθώ με κάποιους από τους καλύτερους φωτογράφους - δασκάλους της πόλης μου. Πολύ γρήγορα ανακάλυψα το πάθος μου για την τέχνη της φωτογραφίας, και συν
ειδητοποίησα ότι αυτός είναι ο προσωπικός μου τρόπος έκφρασης.
Ορόσημο στην ζωή μου, στάθηκε μια μοναδική ταξιδιωτική μου εμπειρία στην Αίγυπτο το 2012 και συγκεκριμένα στο Όρος Σινά.
Οι άνθρωποι που συνάντησα εκεί, και τα τοπία που αντίκρισα, με επαναπροσδιόρισαν ως άνθρωπο και ως φωτογράφο.
Αποτέλεσμα αυτής της εσωτερικής αναζήτησης ήταν να αρχίσω να επιζητώ διαμέσου της εικόνας, την στιγμή. Την στιγμή εκείνη, όπου τα βαθύτερα συναισθήματα αναδεικνύουν την ανθρώπινη φύση, παραμένοντας ζωντανά στη διάρκεια του χρόνου.
Στη φωτογραφια του γάμου και της βάπτισης τα πράγματα κάθε φορά είναι διαφορετικά. Oι άνθρωποι, η τοποθεσία, τα συναισθήματα. Γελάω με την χαρά τους και κλαίω με την συγκίνηση τους. Θα έλεγα με σιγουριά πως μέσα απο κάθε δουλειά βγαίνω πιο αληθινός και ολοκληρωμένος σαν ανθρωπος.

I met photography at the age of 20 when I bought my first camera. A year later, I decided to evolve our relationship, attending a photography school. There I had the chance and the pleasure to meet and learn from some of the best photographers and teachers of my city, Thessaloniki. Very quickly I discovered my passion for the art of photography, and I realized that this is my very personal way of expressing my feelings and vision. A milestone in my life was the unique travelling experience in Egypt in 2012, and specifically Mount Sinai. The people I met there and the landscapes I saw and experienced, redefined me as a person and as a photographer. The result of this internal quest was to begin to seek for the moment through the image. That moment, where the deepest feelings reveal the human nature, remaining alive over time. Each time capturing the people, the place, the feelings. I laugh with their joy and cry with their emotions. I would say with confidence that through every job I become a more real and complete person.
I can’t get over the incredible weddings and couples I had in 2024 so far, and how crazy it is that I haven’t shared most of them.
