My name is Jeroen de Bever, I was born in Breda, the Netherlands. I have built this website, inspired by my passion for the beautiful village of Plakias, the lovely people and the stunning nature that surrounds it. My first visit to Plakias was about 16 years ago, and it was “love at first sight”. Before and after this first visit, I have travelled the world and visited 40 countries. But "Beautifu
l Plakias" is the place I always come back to, that always feels like coming home. Even after so many years and numerous visits and stays. I am just a guy who thinks that keeping the hospitality, warmth and friendliness of the people and the overwhelming beauty of the surrounding nature to himself is less than half the fun: Sharing it makes me happy and I will keep adding photo’s, tips, routes for hikes etc. for you to enjoy and share with others.
