Our stay at Villa Elena in Crete was an absolute dream come true! From the moment we arrived, Yannis, our gracious host, made us feel right at home. His warm welcome, along with his mother's deliciously prepared traditional meal, set the tone for a truly unforgettable vacation.
The villa itself was stunning, surrounded by lush olive trees and swaying palm trees. The picturesque views of the nearby mountains were making every morning a joy to wake up to. We couldn't get enough of the serene atmosphere that enveloped the entire property.
The pool at Villa Elena was perfect for both adults and kids alike. It offered a refreshing escape from the warm Cretan sun, and the children spent countless hours splashing and playing in the water. The poolside area provided plenty of comfortable loungers and shaded spots to relax, ensuring that we made the most of our leisure time.
One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly Bella, the friendly and affectionate dog that roamed the grounds.
Throughout the day, the melodious tunes of cycades filled the air, creating a soothing and magical atmosphere. It was a joy to simply sit back, relax, and listen to the calming sounds of nature while savoring the tranquil surroundings.
The location of Villa Elena was also ideal. With the beautiful beaches just a short 15-minute drive away, we were able to explore the crystal-clear waters and enjoy various water activities. It was the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience, allowing us to venture out and experience the best of what Crete had to offer.
As two families traveling together with three kids, we found the villa to be spacious and well-equipped to accommodate all our needs. The well-appointed bedrooms and common areas allowed us to spend quality time together while also providing enough privacy for everyone.
In summary, our experience at Villa Elena was beyond compare. Yannis and his family's warm hospitality, the delicious meals, the peaceful surroundings, and the company of Bella the dog all combined to create an unforgettable and magical vacation. We couldn't recommend Villa Elena enough, and we're already planning our next visit to this hidden paradise in Crete."
