While Greek cuisine has gained global acclaim, Cretan gastronomy stands out with its unique and authentic dishes. 💓👌

During your stay at Estella Villa, make sure to savor these must-try delights:

▪️ 𝐒𝐢𝐳𝐨𝐮𝐦𝐚: pasta boiled in lamb broth, resulting in a flavorful dish, served with a local cheese called athotiros!

▪️ 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐟𝐢: the center piece of Cretan weddings and christenings, made with chicken and/or lamb broth, butter and plenty of lemon juice!

▪️ 𝐊𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐢: zucchini flowers, stuffed with rice, aromatic herbs or cheeses and cooked to perfection! Combine them with feta or yoghurt!
