Visiting some of the highlights of Rhodes Island and see one of nature’s truly amazing spectacles. Petaloudes – Valley of the Butterflies.
Here you will find waterfalls and fresh water streams under a cooling canopy of trees. Thousands of butterflies make the valley their home during the summer months each year. Completely covering the tree and bushes, the butterflies provide a sight that you will probably never see again.
Walk through the woods and see fresh water crabs in the streams and ponds.
One of the island’s beauty spots is Kalithea Spa.
Here our ancestors once bathed in the healing waters. Explore the renovated Italian rotunda with its photos of years gone by and its beautiful gardens.
Part of the famous American movie “Escape to Athena” movie was filmed here.
Enjoy a traditional Greek Meze lunch at a village taverna, rated one of the top taverna’s on Rhodes by trip advisor.
Finally on to “Seven Springs”.
A lush oasis of crystal clear fresh water set in beautiful surroundings where 7 natural springs meet to flow through an Italian aqueduct system, designed to store water. Walk through the tunnel to marvel at the beautiful lagoon.

On our Bumpy Rhodes Safari tour of Rhodes Island, we take you far away from the usual tourist spots and show you the wild side of Rhodes.

As this tour's name promises, we offer you a bumpy, but safe, safari under the guidance of our experienced guides and drivers.
The roads we drive on, no one else drives.
We don't advertise our routes so it will stay that way!
Passing along forgotten trails, lush water courses and traditional Greek villages.
In 2014 we decided that we needed something bigger than the vehicles we were using.
The requirements were:
Seating for 8 passengers, front facing seats, 3 point seatbelts and comfort.
But there was nothing like that on the market.
So we renovated two 4x4 Iveco ex-army trucks, with high ground clearance, and full 4x4 high and low range gearboxes with diff locks to enable us to go where other vehicles can’t go.
From this height views are perfect, maybe just a little more thrilling.
An experience that will leave you wanting to go back to the start and go around again.
Lunch can be ordered on the day! We charge you 10 euro for a great picnic.
