"THETIS I" is a 40 feet (12 meter) sloop with a fin keel ending to a winged torpedo bulb, model “OCEANIS 400” built by Beneteau of France. It is clasified as a "Performance Cruiser" efficiently combining and carefully balancing performance, stability and comfort. A real pleasure to sail. The yacht has 3 cabins and sleeps six adults in spacious comfort. Two head layout with plenty of natural light and ventilation. A salon with a curved dinette settee and teak table to starboard with a center settee and the galley amidships lengthwise opposite to port. Aft are two double birth cabins with one locker in each, to port the guest head and to starboard the navigation table and panel. The private cabin forward has a double berth to starboard, an upholstered small settee and a locker opposite to port. Further forward, is the second large private head. The Oceanis 400 cockpit is a mastery of ergonomic design, giving plenty of elbow room to the crew, whether underway or socializing around the cockpit table at the end of the day. High coamings provide plenty of back support and security for the crew. Adding to sailing pleasures, “THETIS I” features a large easily accessible, multi-purpose swimming platform literally making the entire sea your own private swimming pool.
