Anastasia Villa covers 79m2, it’s divided in two levels and can accommodate up to 5 guests, making it suitable for families, as well as for groups of friends. As you enter, you will find yourselves in the Villa’s open plan area, featuring the living room and fully equipped kitchen for a self-catered, family holiday. The space is tastefully decorated and the modern furnishings were carefully chosen, so as to provide maximum comfort and make you feel right at home. The living room and kitchen area provide direct access to the pool terrace and the BBQ facilities, making the preparation of your meals very easy and trouble-free. Anastasia Villa boasts two bedrooms, one with one double bed and one with two single beds, which are located on the first floor. All rooms have large windows which let the sun light and fresh air in all day long, creating a magical summer ambience. At night, you can prepare your dinner at the BBQ facilities available and let the cool summer breeze and the light of the stars take all your worries away. The stone fence around the pool and the arched, shaded verandas, bring out the traditional element of the area, while offering you privacy at the same time. Location Overview
Anastasia Villa is located in the traditional village of Selia, situated on the south coast of Rethymno, where guests can find many necessities they need such as tavernas and a bakery within 2 minutes walking distance. The world famous beach of Plakias and the homonym sea front village, can be reached within 9 minutes by car. The sandy beach is very well organised, providing sun beds, umbrellas, changing rooms, showers, etc. The rocks surrounding the beach are ideal for fishing and snorkelling, as well. The road along the beach is also ideal for walking or cycling. Along the main road of the village there are several supermarkets, bakeries, ATM machines, post office, a doctor’s as well as a dentist’s office, restaurants, tavernas, a pastry shop, a bakery, cafes and beach bars while on the beach there are tamarisk trees, water sports, beach volley courts, snack bars and other shops offer a very wide range of products, including local and traditional goods. The long, sandy beach of Souda, which is just a short drive from the villa, 10 minutes, is well organised with sun beds and umbrellas. Also the well known beaches of Schinaria, Ammoudaki and Damnoni which are definitely considered as the beauty of the south cost, are close and can be reached within a 10 minutes drive. Sea waters are warm in July and August, but be prepared to bathe in Saharan-style heat and the ‘meltémi’, the northerly wind which regularly blasts beaches. On the other hand the winds also drive away the mosquitoes and break through that solid wall of summer heat.
