On this Planet, there is an island where the airport has the name of an astronomer (Aristarchus, the astronomer who first said the centre of our world is the Sun and the Earth goes around it).

There is a central road that leads you from the village to the once Huge Temple of Hera, where the Goddess was born. A Temple which in the past was full of gifts brought from Egypt, Syria and Babylon.

The bars and the tavernas have got hellenic names. The statues are about philosophers and astronomers.
The food is pure.
The island has its own wine and beers.
The people are pure.
And the beaches are full of little stones with glitter.

I am still shocked with this place.
The land where Epicurus played as kid.

Blessed are those who know what Samos truly is.
(It is not about going there, it is about studying it 🙂)

As long as this planet goes around the Sun, Samos will be the ONE.
