Come to Skiathos, Greece and stay with us at our boho arty home Batlis House . You will have the best days of summer ever! We have three self catering apartments for rent. We cannot wait for the season to start, although we need a couple more months to finish renovating our lovely cosey home. Yes I have knocked down some walls and pulled out a kitchen just in time for another storm. Eek! Thank goodness my husband @aartvark.collective is a fab carpenter. Right now i am hiding inside by the fire, listening to the strong winds wondering if my mums flight will leave tomorrow and if the shutter that keeps banging needs rescuing, while practicing making some adverts. We had a beautiful day with everyone arriving for our first day tomorrow. We collected clay and prepared it and made a mermaid! The natural clay in Skiathos is perfect. Just add water. Magical. Cannot wait to see what else we create this week. See you tomorrow for Day 1 of our retreat! ♡♡♡♡

We had a wonderful day at Elias beach yesterday. ELIAS TAVERNA IS OPEN!. Storm Daniel hit the Northern beaches really badly, so it was just brilliant to see everyone smiling, the taverna open, and the beach as beautiful and as wild as ever. They were in the diggers clearing up, which my Joie loved. It was also my dogs birthday and he had another best day of his life. We all had a wonderful day. Of course the beach is left covered in debris. It's just experienced the biggest storm and torrential rains in our lifetime! But the driftwood is beautiful and i'm sure like us, visitors will take some plastic home with them. The road from bus stop 23 is open for 4x4s and quads and you can get all the way to the beach. Or like us, you park at the old hotel and walk through the majestic pine forest, which I highly recommend. So please go say hi, give the team a high five for being amazing, and have the best day at one of the most amazing beaches Skiathos has to offer. #eliasbeach #supportskiathos
