Great news! Our latest research paper, published in MDPI Sensors, focuses on a crucial issue: detecting falls among people, which are a leading cause of injury. We've developed an easy-to-implement system using sensor data from a three-axis accelerometer, resulting in a simple yet effective solution. What’s more, we’ve made our framework, PIPTO, open source in Python and C, making it accessible to the research community. Check out our paper in MDPI Sensors for all the details on this important work!
