❗️LOCATION. The nearest street leads directly to the central vein of Zakynthos town – to the pedestrian and shopping avenue. The rhythm of the town, unlike that of the resorts, is "dictated" by local people of Zakynthos. There you will find really good restaurants, taverns, cafes and a good quality nightlife. You won't need a car to get there.
❗️SEA & BEACHES. Villa is enough close to the main port (around 15 minutes' walk). We recommend to try different beaches of the island every day. You can reach the sandy marine park‘s beach in Kalamaki in 10 minutes by car. It would take the same time to get to Planos / Tsilivi. In about 20 minutes you will come to beaches of Vasilikos area: Porto Zoro, Banana, ect. Family favorite beaches will be Kalamaki or Gerakas.
❗️HOW TO COME TO ZAKYNTHOS (ZANTE)?
Zakynthos is reached by direct flights from various countries such as United Kingdom, Netherlands, Ireland, Italy, Poland, etc. You can come to Zakynthos THROUGH ATHENS as well (Olympic Air, Sky Express flights). If you travel through Greece by car, you will need to take ferry from Kyllini port in Peloponnese (check Levante Ferries routes).
🍇 UNIQUE! VILLA GALANOUSSA is one of the oldest buildings in the town of Zakynthos. Its strong rustic character is an integral part of the building’s nature and is a perfect example of traditional stone architecture. Not only stone walls, but also the trunk of a vine tree testify that an entire century has passed there after the family house was originally built in 1900.
