Blue caves/ Shipwreck/Xigia

Cruise Description

This cruise starts every day in the morning from Alykes and Alykanas harbor by our glass bottom speedboats. First we go to the most beautiful beach in the world- the Shipwreck beach (the Smugglers Cave) . There we stop for a swim for about 45 min. Later we enter the Blue Caves for photos and stop there for a swim. There you will have a chance to take nice photos of this natural phenomenon, we get very close to the caves that you can enjoy the beauty of the crystal blue water. After that, we’ll get the opportunity to see Agios Nikolaos’ delightful harbor, and visit the Xigia Beach- natural sea spa water with sulfur & collage for swimming again. The journey takes about 4 hours with a stop for swimming in 3 different places. With us you have the opportunity to explore and see the most beautiful places that exist in the northern part of the island such as Agios Nikolas, the Micro Nisi (small island) and Makris Gialos. If you are lucky, you will see dolphins, turtles or even seals.

THE ROAD TRIP

Welcome aboard our island tour bus! Get ready for a fun, lovely enjoyable day, as we take you on a journey around the stunning island of Zakynthos. Our journey begins at Bright and Beautiful, the home of our shop, where you'll be introduced to our team and given a brief overview of what to expect throughout the day. You'll have the chance to browse and purchase beautifully crafted items while hearing the inspiring story behind our shop's creation.
Our first stop is a local olive oil factory in Lithakia where you can see how they make their world-renowned olive oil. You'll also have a chance to taste some of the local delicacies and beauty products made from their own oils. These products are also available for purchase, so be sure to try them all for the full experience.
Our journey then takes us to one of the most photographed islands on Zakynthos, where you can step across the famous bridge and explore the island's captivating beauty. The island is a popular venue for weddings, so you might get lucky and witness a ceremony during your visit! This is also the perfect spot for a selfie, as the backdrop view is truly remarkable.
As we travel through the charming villages to Kampi, we'll see the famous cross and admire the stunning views. From there, we will take you on a fascinating exploration of the charming local villages that surround Alykanas. These villages are anything but ordinary and are sure to surprise and delight you in equal measure.
Our first stop is a mere eight minutes from Alykanas, where we will visit a local family who have transformed their land into an extraordinary income source. We don't want to give too much away, but suffice it to say that you are in for a treat! The hospitality of this local family will make for a beautiful experience.
Next, we will head to another local village and visit an old museum, where you will learn about how past residents lived their lives. Spoiler alert: their way of life was very different from our modern-day conveniences. You will be amazed at how they managed to survive without the amenities we take for granted today!
We will then visit a local church where miracles happen with water. Yes, you heard that right! You'll have to see it to believe it.
As we drive through the other villages, we will make pit stops and introduce you to the local culture and traditions. We have a 20 seater Mini bus that keeps the numbers small and personal.. With your own friendly, happy tour guide...She will bring some happiness and fun to you whist exploring our beautiful Island.

Day Trip to Patra

Mid January and.if all goes well another day out can be organised off the Island.

So if anyone wants a day off the rock to Center of Patra and Jumbo...jump abroad as it will be a fun day out...
All details.of cost of the trip will be known after the New Year , as it depends really on numbers that want to come. Take into consideration that there are precautions that will be take due to circumstances of covid.

With the disadvantage of covid hitting us we have not been able to do so many tours ..as i decided to close for two years because of the situation...however next year fingers crossed and we can start getting back to a normal road... we can start putting everything into action and start bringing you what i planned from the beginning..mixing crafts and locals and trips and talents.....so excited as new tours and craft workshops will be introduced as also many different changes within the brightandbeautiful business...
We tested out one yesterday, which was so much fun and what an inspiring lady Hanne Mi S.Ceramic Art Studio ...also her employees were lovely and professional and i can not wait to offer this as a workshop....i started brightandbeautiful knowing that i wanted a little handmade shop but also knowing that it was just the start of something i wanted to do as a passion of mine from my early days....i love that i learn and meet people that have energy and that can inspire me just by spending a couple of hours with them ..that surely is a gift on it's own..
