Due to family circumstances, students often come to school without breakfast. Niños de Guatemala's goal is to provide the children with better snacks to give them more of the nourishment they need during the school day so they can focus on their studies instead of their stomachs. We are so grateful for having a wonderful group of women on a transformational journey this week. This trip includes immersion in the Guatemalan life and many hands-on activities.

Do you know why buses in Guatemala are called chicken buses? - The name chicken bus derives from the fact that passengers would often transport live animals on them. It's not odd to see an actual chicken on the bus!
