Pretty amazing you can get from Antigua to our Acatenango Base Camp in as little as 2-3 hours. Head up in a 4 x 4 for a day trip, or combine it with a night in our comfortable glamping tents to make it a truly memorable experience. Either way, it's the quickest way to the top!

Semana Santa, or Easter Week, has been uniquely celebrated in Antigua since 1543. Starting mid-February & building up to Easter, every week local residents decorate the city streets with “alfombras” or carpets made from fresh flowers and colored sawdust while floats weighing over 2000 pounds are carried throughout the city by bearers. It’s truly a sight to see!
