Guam Visitors Bureau

Guam Visitors Bureau www.visitguam.com Håfa Adai (Hello)! Guam is the westernmost U.S. territory in the Pacific and is the largest island in the Micronesian region.

The Guam Visitors Bureau was established in 1963 as the Guam Tourist Commission under the hospice of the Guam Department of Commerce, signaling the beginning of the Tourism Industry on Guam. In 1970, the commission was renamed to the Guam Visitors Bureau as a non-stock, non-profit membership corporation to promote Guam as a visitor destination. Recently rated as having the second “Best Overseas Be

ach” by visitors from Japan, Guam is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Having year-round summer weather offers many different water activities. For the more adventurous visitors, Guam offers nature hikes, skydiving, and other extreme activities. With American-style shopping offering name-brand products as well as locally made gift items, there is something for everyone to bring home to remind them of the “Håfa Adai” Spirit Guam is known for. Guam is also endowed with a rich history of the Chamorro culture. Historical sites offer a glimpse of what the natives endured over time and a sense of pride for how far we have come. Village Fiestas and other cultural events give a unique experience of Guam's culture and people. Guam is currently serviced by United Airlines, Jin Air, Korean Air, T'way, Japan Airlines, and Philippine Airlines. For more information please go to visitguam.com.

Santa Claus was in town, taking photos and handing out goodies to the children while holiday music filled the air. If you missed it, the lights are on nightly at Skinner Plaza as well as Tutujan (Triangle) Park. Perfect for fun photos with the family. Stop by!
