We are the quality and technology people. Mings Products and Services (M.P.S.) commenced operation in February of 1990 with just a few Yamaha Outboard Motors.

Providing an excellent range of quality products and solutions to our fellow Guyanese is our business, providing excellent service to each and every individual who chooses to invest in us is our passion. Within a few months we became the exclusive distributor in Guyana for the entire range of products manufactured by ‘Yamaha Motor Company Ltd.’ – Japan. Our Yamaha product line has since expanded t

Our Company

Yamaha

Our Yamaha Outboard Engines range from 2 horsepower to over 200 horsepower and are used throughout Guyana, mainly in the fishing, farming, mining, water transportation and tourism sectors.

Our Yamaha Generators range from 950 watts to 21,000 watts. They are of the highest quality and are very affordable even for the owner of a 1-bedroom apartment who wishes to beat the “black-out” blues!

Our Yamaha Water Pumps are mainly used by the agricultural industry for irrigation purposes.

Fiberglass workboats are growing in popularity in the river transport industry and our outboards with our industry exclusive salt and muddy water features are just the outboards to power them.

Our Yamaha All Terrain Vehicles are used mainly by the mining industry and immediate savannah regions to traverse areas with rough terrains and are seeing increasing use by our local law enforcement in the policing of these sectors.

Mitsubishi

In the mid-90s we were appointed the exclusive Guyana distributor for the entire range of motor vehicles manufactured by the “Mitsubishi Motors Corporation Inc.” – Japan.

These include the Mitsubishi “Galant” and “Lancer” cars including their flagship “Lancer Evolution,” their proven workhorse the “L200″ and “L200 Sportero” pickup trucks, the trail proven “Pajero” SUVs and “Rosa” buses, mobile libraries, etc...

Advanced Drainage Systems

MPS is also the exclusive distributor for a range of construction and infrastructure supplies including the line of products manufactured by “Advanced Drainage Systems Inc.” – USA.

The product most in demand on the local market is their High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipes which are used as culverts in the agricultural and construction industries. The sizes range from 4″ to 48″ internal diameter in 20′ sections and can easily be coupled through their patented coupling system for greater length requirements. The smooth interior maximizes flow and the trademark corrugated exterior increases the structural strength and rigidity.
