Last evening, THAG hosted its first Members Meeting & Networking Session for the year at the Cara Lodge Hotel. This served as a dynamic session for advocacy updates, new initiatives, and a 2024 year-in-review.

Mrs. Carla Vantull, Executive Member and Head of THAG’s Advocacy Committee, shared key updates on the progress of THAG’s advocacy agenda. Representatives from the GRA provided valuable insights into concessions available to the sector, while Mr. Kamrul Baksh, Executive Director of the Guyana Tourism Authority (GTA), highlighted the authority’s achievements and outlined its vision for 2025.

The session also served as an opportunity for new, existing, and potential members to engage with one another, exchange ideas, and explore future collaborations with industry peers and stakeholders. We extend our gratitude to Mr. Ron Glasgow for representing The Centre and for keeping the Elevate ALL Program in focus, as well as to Mr. Petamber Persaud of the Guyana Heritage Society for joining us in this enriching networking experience.
