Oman Air has replaced its First Class with a new Business Studio, now available on its Boeing 787 fleet and long-haul routes, including London and Bangkok.

The cabin features a spacious 1-2-1 layout with eight private lie-flat beds, each with its own privacy door for enhanced comfort and solitude. Every Studio is equipped with Wi-Fi, allowing passengers to stay connected throughout their journey.

Emirates has unveiled its first Airbus A350, featuring a luxurious Business Class cabin inspired by the Mercedes S-Class.
The 1-2-1 configuration offers lie-flat seats, a 4K ICE entertainment system, wireless charging, a minibar, and enhanced storage. Passengers can enjoy award-winning dining, world-class hospitality, and Wi-Fi that works even over the North Pole.

Cathay Pacific’s new Aria Suite Business Class is now flying on the Boeing 777-300ER, starting with the Hong Kong to Beijing route. The suites feature a 1-2-1 reverse herringbone layout with direct aisle access, high walls for privacy, and a calming design in neutral tones with Hong Kong-inspired artwork. Each suite has a 24-inch 4K screen, Bluetooth, USB ports, wireless charging, and free Wi-Fi. Seats fully recline into beds, with plenty of storage and a built-in tray table.

The aircraft will soon fly more short-haul routes within Asia, including Shanghai (PVG), Singapore (SIN), Taipei (TPE), and Tokyo (HND). Starting January 2025, the Aria Suite will be offered on long-haul flights to London (LHR) and other destinations.

Qatar Airways just launched Starlink-equipped Boeing 777 flights! The first one took off from London to Doha on October 22, 2024, and guess what? Passengers got free, super-fast internet from gate to gate.

This high-speed, low-latency service is available in the Middle East and North Africa, and Qatar Airways plans to roll it out across its entire 777 fleet by 2025. So now you can stream shows, catch live sports, play games, or get some work done easily—just a simple one-click access. Sounds like a game-changer for in-flight entertainment!

Turkish Airlines has announced the Crystal Business Class Suites, set to roll out from late 2025 into 2026.

The new Airbus A350s will debut the suites, followed by retrofitting on the Boeing 777 fleet. Key features include direct aisle access, wireless charging, and 22-inch 4K screens, with a new 1-2-1 configuration for more space and privacy.

The rollout aims to cover half the fleet by the end of 2026, with ultra-long-haul routes like Sydney and Melbourne included.

American Airlines is upgrading its fleet with the new Flagship Suites across several aircraft models.

The suites will be installed on the upcoming Airbus A321XLRs and Boeing 787-9s, as well as on refurbished Boeing 777-300ERs. Featuring a 1-2-1 layout with direct aisle access, privacy doors, lie-flat seating, and ample storage, these suites are designed to maximize luxury and comfort.

This move represents American Airlines' shift towards a more modern and premium seating experience.

Emirates Refurbished 777-200LR Business Class: upgrade or downgrade?

The updated configuration features a more spacious 2-2-2 seating layout, offering greater comfort and privacy with wider seats. The removal of First Class has made way for a stylish new social area, providing a relaxed space for mid-flight refreshments. While some might miss the exclusivity of First Class, the enhanced Business Class experience and added amenities could be seen as a significant improvement.
