喊出黎！

我個仔

2011年，二十八歲
第一次一嘗夢想成真的感覺
我一手切咗間自己嘅hostel

由無到有，諗返我唔知點做到
可能份工多假
整下整下又俾我切到

不算很大但要做到心目中的感覺其實這樣不大不小剛剛好

那時候還未有Airbnb， 來的客人大都給嚇呆了，但還是很喜歡這裡

第一個客人我永遠都記得

每張床我都訓過
當然包括地下
天台都有

有次無離啦更停電
大家點起蠟燭再上天台吹水
沒有人有怨言
這個地方就是有這樣的力量

很多客人成為了好友
希望到老咗開間天唐老人院
大家一起入住

經常吹水到零晨然後吊床訓兩個鐘再上機
啱啱做完班new York 返黎大細喼行上九樓然後執床抺地
再等埋客人上黎先求其訓梳化

青春就是這樣義無反顧

希望用呢張Post card 記錄我年少輕狂的六年時間

感謝奶媽Nicolas Camacho 對佢無微不至
養父Tony Siu 不離不棄
Harmony Lai 同我一齊癲咗半年
還有很多很多幫過手的朋友們

天唐快要變天劏
件事好殘酷又好香港

但我記得在鬧市的天空其實是可以看到流星

My friend my friend ,

Tin Tong charity day

We help with the distribution of 300 rice boxes for our favorite restaurant 北河燒臘 that takes care for the homeless people living underneath the street in Sham Shui Po.

fresh peppermint was the first that we could harvest from our roof garden in the sky. we make delicious fresh tea with it and have already our own syrup and an our tin tong house drink! thanks to barkeeper thomas our dear resident guest :)
Yesterday we cut some salad and made a salat out of it. it was delicious and a great satisfaction!
Now the question is, what to do we with all the salad that grows that we can not eat..?! does anyone have a good idea? maybe we can preserve it somehow?

Tin Tong 4 year BBQ gathering

4 year ago, everything started.
Looking at the old picture , before that I was another person .

People come , people go.
And you don't know when , they become your friend for life long .

Nicholas, we did so many things togerther , teaching in a hand made work shop for recycling banner , picking up stuff on the street to rebuild TinTong , visiting Borobudur in Indonesia , having first TinTong trip in Bali , and we are now making the fire togerther .

Mathieu ,He said if he didn't stay here before maybe he is still a traveller to Hong Kong , now he is our neighbor living at the end of the street .

Katya , we meet each other 3 years ago , for our first talk on the roof she said she wanna live in Hong Kong after graduate . Now she is a English teacher living in Sham Shui Po .

And Mel , you should book a ticket to join us !

Mr. Potato Thomas, after you stay for the first year we keep talking about you . When will you be back !?

For those who help/stay here before , again thank you very much and we looking forward to the next TinTong trip on 2015 !

On The Road, A Wanderer

step after step,
I walk the road
no matter how rushed those around me are
I take my own time
whether cars turn left or right
I choose my own direction
big fish glide in the aquariums
food stalls offer whopper fishballs
I'm not lured
some shove handcarts stacked with huge boxes
some pedal bikes
some steer a Rolls
all going somewhere.

wind drifts flowery clothes
into soft kaleidoscopes
I don’t have to see so clearly
heading slowly toward my heart’s core
what’s outside mists over
don't think I took a wrong turn
don't think I'm walking circles
I no longer follow the paths of others
no longer hurry to catch up
no longer in line for this group
or that joining one camp,
attacking another

my left foot right foot
meet the pavement
tracing my own mind’s map
walking slow
if by chance the city glare blinds me
I glance away,
keeping my own pace

I guess education has served part of its purpose when one is questioning about its worthiness. Great beer time and working time with Lin in the past 10days.

Follow what you see and feel then the universe will lead you there, like how your plant is growing towards where the sunlight is.

Travel Alert !
Our Spanish-Italian pirate Captain Nicolas Camacho is coming back to Tin Tong on 11/2 after 446 days of travel in Jogja and south east asia.
Looking forward for the Italian coffee and the endless talking on the roof !
