OTHER ADJUSTMENTS – INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS

Several flights to Manila from Seoul Incheon, Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Busan, Singapore and Japan (Tokyo Haneda, Fukuoka, Osaka Kansai and Tokyo Narita) will depart with five to six hours delay.

Additionally, flights tonight from Manila to Los Angeles, Guam, Bali (Denpasar), Hanoi and Bangkok are planned to depart with two to three hours delay.

Our PR 212 from Sydney was diverted and landed in Cebu as a precaution. The flight is planned to proceed to Manila at around 1:00 AM (local time) if safety and weather conditions permit.

ATTENTION - THIS IS A DEVELOPING SITUATION; FURTHER CHANGES EXPECTED.

Philippine Airlines will keep a close watch on weather forecasts for the airports we serve in Luzon island and other parts of the Philippines, in case we need to cancel or adjust other flights and routes.

If you have a flight to or from any of the above areas, we advise you to check the status of your journey by logging on to www.philippineairlines.com and click the “Flight Status” icon on the main page, and then fill in the flight number (without the “PR” or “2P” designation, just the number itself) and date of departure.

The flight’s status is updated in real time, and there is no need to call the contact center to verify the information. We encourage you to continue monitoring the status of your flight using the Flight Status self-service tool on our website so that we can keep our contact center hotlines free of congestion.

Please do not proceed to the airport if your flight is cancelled, but instead avail of the rebooking options below.

FOR PASSENGERS OF CANCELLED FLIGHTS:

You have the option to:

1. Convert your ticket to Travel Credits equivalent to the unused base fare of your ticket. Voucher validity is one year (1) year from date of issuance.

2. Rebook or Reroute your ticket to another flight with available space within 60 days from the original flight in the same booking class or higher within the same cabin class.

3. Refund ticket without penalties, excluding Ticketing Service Charge
You may access the online self-reaccommodation tool for flight rebooking. Simply click the Manage Tab and then select the Flight Disruption button in our homepage at www.philippineairlines.com.

If your contact details are in our reservations records, you will be informed of the status of your flights via e-mail, telephone call or SMS/text.

sa abroad o bilang isang OFW

Marami kasing OFW (hindi po lahat) talagang nae-enjoy yung buhay abroad, bili dito bili dyan, gala dito gala dyan, gastos dito gastos dyan, yung iba ay talagang feeling mas angat sa buhay at yung iba nagiging sobrang taas na.

Pero ang totoo paguwi ng Pinas,
kapag nakita yung bahay nila, yung buhay ng pamilya, yung sitwasyon ng mga magulang, kapatid at anak.

Ito pala yung totoong ako!
Ito pala yung buhay na mayroon talaga kami!
At hope dun ka sana humugot ng mas malalim na reasons mo kung bakit talaga kailangan mong may gawing bago.

Making comparison of yourself won't satisfy you, it won't make you greater than others because remember this, you can't clear your own field by counting the rocks on your neighbor's farm.

Its a waste of time and energy to compare your life to other people. Life is more fun when you don't keep score with others. Success is simply a matter of how best you work for it and not worrying what others are going to do. Success and failures are carried by yourself -- they don't depend on others. Someone else' success has nothing to do with yours so don't be sad, don't be envious and most of all DO NOT COMPARE!

Do the things you truly want not what someone else wants for you. When you feel like you haven't done good enough, say this, "I'm good but not as good as I ought to be", rather than comparing and saying, "I'm not as bad as a lot of other people."

Let no one limits you! Create your own plan, create your own system because the longer you dwell on another's weakness, the more you affect your mind with unhappiness.

Again, what happens in another person's life, good or bad, must not affect with what you wanna do or achieve in life, well, it can be a factor but still the final say is in you.

Remember, don't define yourself with another man's coat and do not evaluate yourself through someone else's eyes.

DO NOT COMPARE YOURSELF. HE IS HE. SHE IS SHE and YOU IS YOU!
