It has been a great pleasure welcoming Air Canada (AC) into our Hong Kong office last week for a product update and hosted Christmas lunch for the team.

Great to know that flights between and have been increased to 6 flights per week from this December. It's more convenient to connect flights to Canada domestic cities and USA with flying with AC.

Hong Kong has started with ‘0+0’ Covid policy a long-awaited change from today.

* No more amber health code for arrivals, who can roam freely in the city if they test negative
* Residents will not be required to use the risk-exposure ‘Leave Home Safe’ app in all premises, but proof of vaccination will be required for entry to designated venues
* Compulsory PCR tests issued to residential buildings will be reduced. Only staff in hospitals and nursing homes will be required to undergo PCR tests. Workers in other occupations can opt for rapid antigen tests
* No more checkpoint PCR test required for cross-border travellers entering Macau and mainland China
* Infected people will not be given electronic wristbands

Airways was once again the key co-title sponsor of the Hong Kong Rugby Sevens 2022.

The event (4-6 November) was the first HK Sevens in more than three years delighted over 65,000 spectators during three days of rip-roaring rugby action.

Spectators were trilled to join the event and had so much fun with ease of restrictions for having beer and food in the stadium while watching the exciting games.

It was an incredible week filled with energy and passion in Hong Kong.

It was our great pleasure to receive the staff training with product update and insights of their business development plan by GBA 大灣區航空 Marketing and Sales Team in our Hong Kong office last week.

We can finally travel without compulsory hotel quarantine when we return to with the 0+3 entry policy.

Hong Kong travellers are getting back to business and international travel returns, CTM employees have embraced the opportunity to take to the skies. Larry Lo (CTM Asia), CEO Asia, has shared the experience of his recent trip when he returned to the Hong Kong International Airport.

Larry says, "The flow of entering Hong Kong was very smooth and stressless. It only took me around 15 minutes in addition to the normal operations before the pandemic."

【Korea】
From today 1 October, the PCR testing requirement for inbound travellers on the day of entry will be cancelled.

Travellers going to Korea are quarantine-free and PCR test-free for both pre-departure and on-arrival. K-ETA is still needed, the travellers need to apply the K-ETA 72 hours prior to departure.

【Taiwan】Taiwan will end its mandatory Covid-19 quarantine for arrivals from 13 October and welcome tourists back, the government said on Thursday, completing a major step on its plan to re-open to the outside world.
