We spent a great day on the water with Franklin and Daniel from Roatan Coral Reef Tours. It was fun for all ages. Franklin is knowledgeable and very sweet. You will really enjoy your time. We can help you connect with him and meet the boat right in front of our beach.

We had a great day in Camp Bay. Be sure to go stop and visit ChellesRoatan . The food was amazing and a fantastic atmosphere. Today was the grand opening. Fun for everyone and right across from Camp Bay Beach.

This video is hard to watch but I beg you to watch and SHARE. I am part of a team working so hard to save these babies. As hard as it is to watch we never thought we would be involved trying to solve the mess left behind. We have a chance at their freedom but need help to get them out. We have been working since July. This experience has changed us all. We need rescues willing to take some, Foster families or adopters. We also need transportation help. Once we get them to the US border we need a plane to fly them across to a cdc approved facility. Then we need help getting the transported to homes and rescue partners in Canada and the US. Non of us will rest till we get them to safety. We have a deadline of March 31 so the urgency is there. If you have a way to help or know someone who can contact our team. To us these are not just faces in a video. We see them, pet them and see the love they have to share if they only get the chance.

Exciting News! Please welcome Ms. Annilee and Ms. Cindy to our Casa team. Ms. Annilee will be on site daily 7am-4pm 6 days a week. Her sister Ms. Cindy will fill in some days. They are there to help with light cleaning, maintenance and even cooking should you wish breakfast or lunch ready. They can even make a good island meal. You pay for the groceries and they will look after you. Just connect with them when you arrive and let them know your preferred routine or if you want meals. You can reach out ahead of time to set somethings up. They will become family to you during your stay. Gratuities appreciated. Welcome ladies. Guests are already raving about them. 🥰

Exciting News

EXCITING NEWS We are expanding the Familia Family to the east end of the island. Camp Bay is an untouched paradise but developing quickly. It will have a different vibe then West Bay giving our guests choices in Roatan. We can’t wait to share it with you. Anyone interested in buying here I’m always happy to share what we have learned.

Our Gardens

We have worked really hard to build the gardens at Casa Familia. This trip we purchased even more fruit trees. So through the year we will eventually have lots of fruit trees and 3 avocados trees to pick from depending the season. Some are already giving fruit. Others will take time but we hope guests will be able to enjoying picking from the trees. Kevis is our gardener. If you see him around say hi. He will also always take a cold glass of water.

We had fun playing Music Trivia Bingo at Hangover Hut tonight. Best burgers on the island and the have poutine. Stop by on a Monday night to play bingo.
