Idabel's dive # 1830- The longest she has ever been out of the water- 7 months- Since then I passed my 25 yr anniversary of my 1st passenger and Idabel passed her 20 yr - Did a total overhaul- every single thing apart- Tony and Michele were my guinea pigs- 700 feet for an hour- only very minor leaks and we saw a shark. Happy April fools !

How often do you recconnect with someone that you had an unforgettable experience with 25 years ago? Wil and I met when I had the 1st sub, C-BUG on display at Seaworld. Shortly after he found himself 500 feet deep in the Atlantic ocean doing the last dives in that craft with me before it was shipped to Roatan.

On yesterday's dive got into the largest school I can ever remember of these fish that hang upside down in the water. 1600 feet, easily thousands, interestingly they were all the same size, only about half of how big they can get. At the end of the dive we also saw a tiger shark at 400'

Originally hailing from the US state of Minnesota, this week’s featured photographer Joshua Schellenberg grew up just about as far from the ocean as you can get. His love for scuba diving and underwater photography began later in life, shortly after he moved to Florida in 2016. Soon after relocati...

Parts of the sub were made at this very facility. They were such an instrumental part of the process, when it was time for Idabel to be trucked from Oklahoma to Florida, it made the journey on the same truck as some of their tires.
