MENTAL HEALTH TOURISM
(...from the conference in Split)
The whole idea should be to first create a quality living space for our local residents, and then to offer tourists some added value. The emphasis must be on our quality living space and urban space, as well as quality food and products, and then tourists will recognize it.
The backbone of this tourism branch is feelings. This is what we have forgotten we have inside us. When people stay in that authentic space, everything that we carry deep inside us immediately wakes up. And this is what people are looking for throughout their lives. Some go to India, to Tibet, but they can also find that in Croatia, provided that it is really authentic', when talking about the concept of mental health tourism, the recognized world-renowned expert prof. Ph.D. h.c. Milan Krajnc, who was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2021 on the topic 'A new economy based on natural psychology.
MENTAL HEALTH TURIZAM
