🎉 Happy World Tourism Day from all of us in Baška! 🎉

World Tourism Day, celebrated each year on 27 September, is the global observance day fostering awareness of tourism’s social, cultural, political and economic value and the contribution that the sector can make towards reaching the Sustainable Development Goals.

We marked the occasion yesterday and shot our generational photo on Baška's Vela Riva. Locals, friends and fans of Baška gathered on the waterfront to pay tribute to this generational project of extending the waterfront that began more than 100 years ago.

💙🕵️‍♀️ This Wednesday, join on our free Storytelling & A Capella Wednesday / Baška guided walk!

It'll be a 1.5 hr guided walk, held in English, during which we'll discover Glagolitic letters scattered throughout Baška, get to know their origin and come to understand their hidden meanings.

* The walks start at 7:30 PM on 11.08. & 18.08., and at 7:00 PM on 25.08. & 01.09.
* The meeting point is in front of the Tourist Office of the Tourist Board of the Municipality of Baška, Zvonimirova 114.
* After each walk participants will have the opportunity to learn to write their name in Glagolitic script
* Guided tours are free for all who sign up, organised by the Tourist Board of the Municipality of Baška
* if you can't make it this Wednesday, there will be another walk in English on August 25th

Testiranje na Covid-19 u Baški
TZ općine Baška je u suradnji sa zdravstvenom ustanovom CROMEDIC AMBULANCE osigurao dodatno mjesto na Krku za provođenje testiranja na COVID 19.

U prostorima Osnovne škole Fran Krsto Frankopan, Područne škole Baška, Zvonimirova 120, 51523 Baška biti će moguće od 19 lipnja svakim danom od 09 - 13 i 17 – 21 h napraviti brzi antigenski (BAT), ali i PCR test.

Na testiranje se nije potrebno naručiti, ali se podaci potrebni za izdavanje nalaza mogu unaprijed ispuniti putem linka na webu https://www.pcb.cromedic.com/destinacija?dest=baska ili QR koda koji se nalazi na stranicama TZO Baška i na samom testnom mjestu.

Nalaz brzog testiranja se čeka do 15 minuta te se izdaje na engleskom jeziku, isti je vjerodostojan za međunarodna putovanja. Nalaz se šaljem putem maila, ali se može zatražiti i printani nalaz na samoj lokaciji testiranja. Nalaz PCR testiranja izdaje se unutar 24h putem e-maila.

Cijena brzog antigenskog testa je 150 kn, PCR testa 750 kn. Plaćanje je moguće gotovinski na licu mjesta, kreditnim i debitnim karticama.

Sve potrebne informacije mogu se dobiti na telefonski broj Cromedic Ambulance centrale + 385 01 20 98 000 ili + 385 091 20 98 222.

***CROMEDIC AMBULANCE će koristiti testove koji su uvršteni na žutu listu EU te vrijede za prelazak preko svih granica (i van EU), brzi testovi: SIEMENS CLINITEST Rapid Covid-19 antigen test i ACON Flowflex SARS Cov 2 Ag test. Za analizu PCR testova koriste se isključivo certificirani laboratoriji.

ℹ️ COVID-19 TESTING SCHEDULE IN MAY

In May, PCR and rapid antigen tests on the Island of Krk are performed even on Saturdays.

⚠ PCR testing
In May, PCR tests are also available on Saturdays, and are performed by the Institute of Public Health of
the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County at the following location:

No appointments are required.
It is recommended to download the appointment form from the Institute's website before testing, fill it out and bring it to the testing.
The price of the test is HRK 490.00.
Test results are available within 48 hours, in both the Croatian and the English language.

Nowadays, everyone is shooting rockets into the outer space. Well, we are going to do that today with you, our dear bikeonauts!
At the start, you will be climbing a narrow single trail to reach 12 long km infamous Krk Moon Surface using only the jet fuel in your legs. No Elon Musk is gonna help you there, but our volunteers will be cheering all the way. Fast rocky single trails, gravel parts, long climbs - a bit of something for everyone's taste

71 kilometers and 1750 meters of climbing…
