FAST FERRY LINE SPLIT - BOL - JELSA
All year line, in high season from Bol at 6.30 am to Split, from Split to Bol 4.30 pm every day (only bad weather can disrupt route). In high season buy tickets online, off season in port is fine. Pedestrian only, 70 minutes ride. Check www.jadrolinija.hr for FAQ

Fast ferry line SPLIT - BOL - HVAR - KORČULA - DUBROVNIK, pedestrian only
In July and August buy online, June and September better to buy in port, dates of starting and ending line are not fixed as this is a seasonal line.
Fast ferry also needs calm weather, severe storms cause cancellation for a day or two.

2025 FERRY SCHEDULE MAKARSKA TO SUMARTIN
One of 2 car ferries from main land. Traveling as a pedestrian you need to catch a taxi to Bol, 35 km ride. In that case better to book fast ferry boat in season direct to Bol.
We recommend buying online because ferry is small and only few rides a day. Prepare your vehicle registration certificate, whether buying the ticket electronically or at the agency, as entering of certain data is mandatory. In case of traveling with a rental car, just enter the word RENTAL in the license plate field. A purchased ticket also means a reservation of a place on the ship and departure at the desired time, off season mandatory 45 minutes prior arrival with a car to port, in high season an hour and 30 minutes at least. Ride takes 60 minutes.

One of 2 car ferries from main land. Traveling as a pedestrian you need to catch a bus or taxi to Bol, 45 km ride. Tickets are not a reservation for a car ride, there is a line in port where you go on board when it's your turn. No need to book online, easy to buy in port once you get there. So, weekly weather forecast has sunny disposition, but noon temperature on the sunny side up today is 34C. Sea is steady 24C, going on 25C. Bol is the only bigger settlement on the south side of Brač island. Temperatures in the centre of the island are much lower. Vidova mountain gives the island climate diversities worth experiencing. Long hot and dry summer warmed the sea so we have beaches full of swimmers and sunbathers and it is November. Join us here and enjoy season best in off-season ☀️😉

Ovog utorka u 22h otvaramo našu zadnju ovoljetnu "Izložbu u izložbi" s radovima Gorkog Žuvele! Vidimo se!

Gorki Žuvela (1946., Našice – 2017., Split) je diplomirao slikarstvo na Akademiji likovnih umjetnosti u Zagrebu 1971. godine u klasi prof. Miljenka Stančića. Od 1970. godine konstanto izlaže na samostalnim i skupnim izložbama u Hrvatskoj i svijetu, te dobiva niz značajnih nagrada. Jedino opsežnije predstavljanje svog opusa je imao 2009. godine na retrospektivnoj izložbi u Gliptoteci HAZU u Zagrebu kada je objavljena i monografija autorice Leonide Kovač. Osim po upečatljivoj umjetničkoj karijeri ostat će zapamćen i po iznimnom pedagoškom doprinosu. Od 1976. predavao je u Školi likovnih umjetnosti u Splitu, od 1995. na Studiju likovne kulture Sveučilišta u Splitu. Jedan je od osnivača Umjetničke akademije u Splitu na kojoj je od 1997. godine radio na Odsjeku za slikarstvo a 2016. godine je stekao zvanje profesora emeritusa.
