Villa Fontana, lying right at the foot of the Dalmatian mountain range, benefits from being totally on the flat, so the couple of minutes stroll to the beach is not too far in the hot sun. At the seafront there are several cafe bars, restaurants, hotels, a water sports centre and the jetty for water taxis to Dubrovnik (with departure and return times throughout the day). The centre of Cavtat is a
picturesque walk from the villa, the route meanders along the water's edge, and there are plenty of shady spots and excellent cafe bars & restaurants to sit and watch the world go by. We are pleased to offer the following guest services:-
• Airport Transfers - for guests booking directly with Villa Fontana, collection from and return to Dubrovnik airport is complimentary (for bookings of 3 nights or longer), guests are met by our representative in the airport Arrivals Hall. If you have booked through one of our partner agencies, then please contact the agent to arrange transfers, for which there will be an added fee.
• Optional Starter Pack - the essentials for your arrival. The pack can be ordered any time prior to your arrival and contains: coffee, sugar, milk, bottled water, bread, butter, jam, cheese, ham, eggs, cornflakes, pate and orange juice.
• Car Hire - we have negotiated special deals for our guests, simply select the vehicle type and hire for whatever period, be it a single day, every other day or for the whole of the holiday and the vehicle will be delivered to Villa Fontana and collected when finished with, at no extra cost. No need to book in advance, but don't forget to bring your driving licence!
• Free Wi-fi - internet access available throughout the property
• The Pool - we are rather proud of our pool and invite all our guests to enjoy the crystal clear water
• Poolside Drinks Cabinet - we operate a small 'Honesty Bar' at the pool
• Barbecue - guests are welcome to use the barbecue
• Terrace - in addition to the private balcony / terrace for each accommodation, there is a large terrace with tables and chairs for all our guests to use
• Sunbathing - top up the tan either at the poolside or on the terrace, and there are plenty of shaded areas to provide a little break from all that sunshine!
• Air conditioning is available in each of the Apartments and Rooms
• Activities - within striking distance of Villa Fontana there are facilities for guests to enjoy activities as diverse as horse riding, Geo-caching (GPS assisted treasure hunting), dancing, music, tennis, scuba diving, water sports, painting, cycling and walking to name but a few. For guests looking for a more active holiday, then we are pleased to point them in the right direction, or to make the arrangements on their behalf
• Excursions - we are always pleased to help with any questions guests may have about any of the trips on offer locally and, of course, we are pleased to make suggestions and handle the booking of any chosen excursions on their behalf
