KONAVLE TOUR Hello to everybody....We are grateful to present to You, one of the most enjoyable and the most richest local tour of Konavle, it is just around coner, few minutes from Cavtat..Konavle is a magnificent, picturesques, historical region, full of natural beauties, rivers, water mills, wineyards and historical sites.The tour begins at 9 am and goes to the panoramic platform just above Cavtat, where the postcards are made. The konavle wine tour, an unique trip in this region. On this trip you can se the beauties of the Konavle valley. This trip includes going to four different hidden pockets in the valley. Firstly you are taken up on the hill that we like to call "roof of cavtat" and from there you can see the whole valley, Cavtat, Dubrovnik and even further, its a great oportunity to click a few pictures! Afterwards you go to an old establishment called "sokol kula", its a medieval castle/fort and a museum, so you can go in if you want to look around. The next stop is the oldest and largest loral tree formation in this part of Europe, still working roman technology, aqueducts, mills, there are nice wooden pathways through the dense forrest and a river going through it. And last but not least, you are taken on a local farm, where you will have a locals lunch served which includes dalmatian smoked ham, different types of cheese, olives and vegetables, and you will try 4 different wines, and 4 different liquors, and if you happen to like some of the wines you try, you have the oportunity to buy them, as also the liquors and other crafts, decorations that are traditionaly handmade.
