Great news for Dubrovnik! As of July, Delta, one of the major US airlines will be operating from New York’s JFK Airport to Dubrovnik four times per week!
With Delta’s 9 main US hubs, Dubrovnik is now only one stop away via JFK for travellers across 44 US cities. US travellers are welcomed to visit with negative PCR test, vaccination or recent recovery certificate – and not subject to quarantine!
Apart from Delta, United Airlines also announced three times per week nonstop flights from New York / Newark to Dubrovnik!

Today is the International Day for the Abolition of Slavery, but, did you know that the Republic of Dubrovnik abolished slavery on January 27th 1416 thus became the first European country to abolish slavery. In comparison, England did it in 1569, USA in 1865, while Brazil maintained slave trade till 1888 which is more than 4 centuries after.
