Yesterday’s private tour was unforgettable with a fantastic family! 😍
We started with an exquisite oyster tasting, followed by a serene boat ride, and concluded with delightful wine tastings at two charming wineries.

Today, among others on our Konavle Premium Wine Tour, we have opened 2018 Magnum bottle of Cabernet Franc in our Dubrovacki Podrumi winery ,hosted by our lovely enologist Eva.
The thoughest part of the tour is leaving the winery :)🍷🍾🥂

We had pleasure to host VW Ireland on our Konavle wine and Gastro tour. It gave our guests chance to try some of best Konavle wines such as Cabernet Franc, award winning merlots and local variety Dubrovacka Malvasia. Adding beer on the wine tour was a special clients' request 🙂 We are happy as long as our guests are happy!

🍷PLEREJ by Vukas winery🍷

Premium quality red wine aged for 2 years in oak barrels.
Vineyards for this wine are situated on a steep terrain of the southern slopes of Ponikve hill. Dry wine of complex aroma. Before consummation it is should be decanted. This wine is fruit flavoured and robust.
It’s a semi- dry wine that pairs well with bloody steak, cow cheese cured in olive oil or heavy chocolate cake.

Škurla winery - in spite of more than 30 years of tradition, it started doing wine tastings only 2 seasons ago. Minutes away from Ston, tucked in the small village of Broce, for centuries important defensive outpost of Ston and Peljesac peninsula. Join us on a scenic ride across Salt pans to the winery, learn about history and tradition of wine making in this area and finally try some of the well balanced Plavac, Pošip and Rukatac wines together with different herbal and fruit liquers where each guest will find something of their liking! 2023 harvest is done..our tours keep on going! Today on our Classic Peljesac Wine Tour, 2 of our groups met at Boris Violic winery - boutique winery with a soul in Potomje Village, just before Dingač Tunnel! We took with us the last bottle of their 2022 Pošip -white wine, their first vintage of this variety! Along with Rose, Plavac, Rukatac and Dingač wines, out guests tried some of local traditional sweets -sugar coated orange peels, roasted almonds, quince jelly! Fall is already here and we are making the best out of it in Boris Violic Winery!!!

DINGAČ slopes, late September, 4 days of fresh but clear and dry weather accompanied by Bura (Borra) north eastern ↘️↘️↘️ wind makes it perfect for harvest. June and July were warm and dry but a bit more then average 🌧🌧🌧 in end of august and second week of September will have some effect on the grapes! We will know more in a month. Untill then we do wine tours every day and hope for the best 🤞🤞🤞

Hot and dry summer in Croatia will result with record quantity of salt being harvested from oldest European active saltworks in Ston. Last 3 months have been hectic🤯🤯🤯 for us, in a good way. Every day we are doing our Classic Peljesac Wine Tours, Peljesac Premium Wine Tours, 3 Countries 3 Wineries Day Trip, Peljesac Wine and Oysters Tours. Today we took an afternoon off (well deserved😇) and retreated to the small village of Kobas, on Peljesac island (again) and are talking it easy with crickets in the background and in our 🥂! Tomorrow morning back in action!! Cheers!

Our 3 Countries- 3 Wineries Tour starts with crossing over into Bosnia and Hercegovina and after only 40 min drive from Dubrovnik we reach Christian Orthodox Monastery of Tvrdoš, where we visit Tvrdoš church built on 4th ct. foundations and monastery complex, followed by a walk through 15ct. cellars where we do wine tasting. It is a great opportunity for our guests to learn about indigenious varieties of Zilavka (white) and Vranac (red) and try them together with award winning Cabernet S. and chilled Cab Rose! Learn about monastery's past and present and enjoy their great wines with us!

One of the most authentic spots on our wine trails of Eastern Herzegovina🇧🇦🇧🇦🇧🇦 (Republic of Bosnia and Hercegovina, only 25miles from Dubrovnik) is Christian Orthodox monastery 🕍 of Tvrdoš whose origins date from 4th ct. A.D. Monks started producing wine in mid 15ct and continued for over 200 years until monastery was 💣💣💣 blown up by the Venetians in 1694. as they did not want to leave it to the Ottomans! Monastery was rebuilt in 1920ies but it was not until late 1990ies when forgotten 15th cellars were discovered and wine production resumed. It is one of the very few monasteries in the region that produces over half a million bottles of wine per year (together with their brandy, honey and olive oil). If in a vicinity it is a must-visit sight. Or just join us on one of our tours and let us visit it together!

Spring has arrived, and our tours have resumed. We wake up even before nature wakes up :) As the spring progresses, there will be more wineries and more restaurants opened, islands will also start coming to life..In the meantime we keep touring and tasting through our, always stunning, Peljesac peninsula! Terra Madre Winery in Komarna area, about one hour drive from Dubrovnik. Great Plavac Mali (red) and Pošip (white) grown in ecological environment, on the slopes overlooking Peninsula of Peljesac, with maximum sun exposure throughout the year! Today we tried their young Posip- well balanced creamy grass aromas and elder flower, apple and almond taste on the tongue and 2018 Premium Plavac with typical chocolate and dark cherry aromas with well balanced tannins and alcohols of 14 degrees! We are looking forward in bringing our guests here starting from this spring!!! Season 2022 - we are ready!!!!!

Normally we do inspection trips 👀👀👀👀at the end of March to get the best feel of the winery offer for the upcoming season. However, we were in the vicinity today and decided to visit our friends and check their progress. The great Peljesac bridge🌁,connecting the mainland and peninsula of Peljesac will open in June and it will be exciting to take our guests across the Bridge to try both wines🍷🍷🍷 on the mainland Komarna region and Peljesac peninsula!!

Pelješac Classic Wine Tour is among our bestsellers. We are happy that we had a cruise ship🚢 stop in Dubrovnik for 3 full days with students and professors of program! We had 2 separate tours, 2 vans🚘🚘 ,2 guides🕴🕴, 3 wineries. Given the different demographics of our guests, we did not want to mix the two groups so while visiting same wineries, each group had separate, yet parallel presentation. By the end of the day, as Wine Connects People, they all enjoyed together presentation in our 3rd winery of the day, and had a great time👌👌👌! It is not until end of March that our tourism season starts, so we are happy that all of our hosts were so accommodative and opened their wineries for us!!! Big thanks to and 👏👏👏!!!
