Medjugorje ("between the hills") has become well known in Bosnia-Hercegovina, and the world, because of six young people who claim to have seen visions of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

➖Medjugorje is a town in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It’s been an unofficial place of Catholic pilgrimage since the Virgin Mary allegedly appeared on Apparition Hill in 1981.
➖There is a “Queen of Peace” statue marking the site of the 1st apparition and one in front of the St. James Church.
➖Liquid has been said to drip from the “Risen Christ” statue near the church. A concrete cross tops Cross Mountain, to the south.

➖Kravica waterfall, often erroneously called Kravice, is a large tufa cascade on the Trebižat River, in the karstic heartland of Herzegovina in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
➖It is 10 kilometres (6 mi) south of Ljubuški and 40 kilometres (25 mi) south of Mostar.
➖Its height is about 25 metres (80 ft) and the radius of the lake in the base of the waterfall is 120 metres (390 ft).
➖Kravice is a popular swimming and picnic area and, during the summer, it is frequently visited by tourists from Mostar, Medjugorje and Dubrovnik.

Our lovely stayed in Dubrovnik for 11 days and they had an amazing time trying sea food, visiting island of Lokrum and just being positive. 😊

-Lokrum is home to an idyllic little salt-filled lake linked to the open sea. The island’s Dead Sea (Mrtvo more) is popular for how easy it is to swim in. The lake is 10 meters deep, and is located on the southern part of the island.
