The magic behind Autumn sunsets is that during sunrise and sunset in Autumn, light from the sun must pass through much more of our atmosphere before reaching our eyes, so it comes into contact with even more molecules in the air. Much of the blue light gets scattered away, making the reds and oranges more pronounced. 😍

Today we would like you to meet our team a little bit more, as they are the ones that manage your private tours and bring you and your partner, or your crew to amazing locations around Dubrovnik.

Skipper Ivan likes to say that he is a creative soul. In his spare time, he paints, which relaxes him and brings him closer to the beauty of nature. An added bonus is that it has its own tangerine farm. Do you like tangerines? 🍊🍊🍊

The most favorite part of the job, as he says, is certainly the communication with you and the moments when he brings you to beautiful natural locations that take your breath away.

Meet our skipper team 😀

Tomislav or Toma has been working at Explore Dubrovnik for 6 years. This job offers him the ideal combination of being in nature, meeting new interesting people, solving challenging situations, and enjoying the gastronomic offer of the island’s restaurants (free of charge).
His favorite tour is the combination of southern Mljet and northern Elaphites. On this tour, the natural beauty, the greenery of Mljet, the enchanting coves of Elafite, and privacy are perfectly combined, as our slogan says: Away from the crowds! 🌊

That tour ideally conveys what we do and the experience we want to provide to every guest. In his free time, he looves to ride his motorbike. When the colder days come and it is no longer suitable for driving a motorcycle, he is recreationally engaged in enology and sommelier. 🍷

He adores Croatian wines and at any given moment can recommend the best ones to you. 😉

Matija, or Matt for short is in most cases the first person you talk with when you contact us. You will recognize him easily as Matt is always on the phone, but unfortunately rarely on the boat. 📞🛥️

The reason for this is that he makes sure that your every arrival, departure, and sailing experience is as good as possible, and that you leave Dubrovnik with wonderful memories and a smile on your face. 🥰
