Dubrovnik Airport resumed operations on May 11 after it was closed to civil air traffic since March 19 due to the Covid-19 outbreak. However, since that opening it has only been receiving flights from Zagreb from Croatia Airlines.

The first international airplane to land at Dubrovnik Airport since the Covid-19 pandemic began touched down on 15th of June!

With the internal EU borders easing some restrictions, the first regular international flight landed at Dubrovnik Airport, an Air Baltic flight from Riga carrying on board 96 passengers.

Festivity of Saint Blaise, the patron of Dubrovnik is a festivity organised on today's day continuously since the year 972. It is based on the legend of the appearance of St. Blaise who helped the people of Dubrovnik to defend their town against Republic of Venice.
Festivity was made a part of UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage site in 2009.
This beautiful baroque Church of Saint Blaise is situated on Luža square near the clock tower built by Marino Gropelli.
You will see a statue of Saint Blaise abowe every important doors or a fort holing Dubrovnik in his hands 🙂🕍
