Falcon View location is in the rural agricultural zone. Our water supply is carried to us by the fire trucks. If we want to fill up the swimming pool, we have to connect the pipes from the truck all the way to the pool and then just wait for the water to be pumped up the hill.

What an amazing privilege to be able to pop down to Jelsa town to ribarnica( fresh fish market) and get this tasty fish for our dinner. You can also get a fresh fish of the boat from local fishermen in the centre of Stari Grad town Hvar.

Meet one of our friendly neighbours, the Violet Carpenter, or Xylocopa violacea (I think!). Famous for its chilled nature, they're absolutely buzzing in April but less common to spot in summer, based on my experience.
