The Architect's House: renovated stone villa in Pitve, medieval village overlooking Jelsa harbour on the Mediterranean sea The Architect's House is located in the mountainside village of Pitve, a peaceful haven within walking distance from the beautiful port of Jelsa. Renovated to a high standard, with all original stonework and features maintained, The Architect’s House is located on three levels

, with upper levels having sea and vineyard vistas. Outdoor dining can be enjoyed on a vine-covered balcony, or in a private stone-walled courtyard. Medieval in origin, the small village of Pitve has retained its rustic charm and serenity, with beautiful stone houses lining cobbled lanes. Beaches, sailing, cycling, tennis, nightlife, shopping, internet, post and banking facilities are all available in the local port of Jelsa, 1.5km away. However, for a truly memorable dining experience, there is no need to leave Pitve, which is the home of a renowned outdoor restaurant in the region, Dvor Dubokovic, where you can find delicious regional food and wine, often accompanied by pleasant local music.
