Bristovača pond and a dozen wells around it. With the implementation of the water supply system in the early 20th century, they lost their original purpose. Today, they represent the cultural history on which the survival of each village of Zagora depended.
Bristovača Teich und ein Dutzend Brunnen um ihn herum. Mit der Einführung des Wasserversorgungssystems im frühen 20. Jahrhundert verloren sie ihren ursprünglichen Zweck. Heute repräsentieren sie die Kulturgeschichte, von der das Überleben jedes Dorfes in Zagora abhing.

DAY TRIP TO ZADVARJE part 1 (Fortress and Obor)
The medieval fortress Duare is located on very important road that connects the coast and the dalmatian hinterland. Name of the fortress means passage - doors, gates. It was first mentiond in 1408.
Bellow the fortress in the centre of the settlement, a square was formed surrounding a well-preserved rustic pole with a lamp. For the locals it is simply known as Obor (enclosed area).Well-known fairs and feasts (derneci in croatian) used to be held here.
The tradition has continued to this day so "Goods and livestock fair" is held every Tuesday throughout the year.

TAGESREISE NACH ZADVARJE Teil 1 (Festung und Obor)
Die mittelalterliche Festung Duare liegt an einer sehr wichtigen Straße, die die Küste und das dalmatinische Hinterland verbindet. Der Name der Festung bedeutet Durchgang - Türen, Tore. Es wurde erstmals 1408 erwähnt.
Unter der Festung in der Mitte der Siedlung bildete sich ein Platz, der einen gut erhaltenen rustikalen Pfahl mit einer Lampe umgab. Für die Einheimischen ist es einfach als Obor (geschlossenes Gebiet) bekannt. Früher fanden hier bekannte Messen und Feste (derneci auf Kroatisch) statt.
Die Tradition hat sich bis heute fortgesetzt, so dass die "Waren und Wiehmesse" das ganze Jahr über jeden Dienstag stattfindet.

- Ilinac waterfall above Zakučac near Omis, when there is water, is the highest waterfall in Croatia 130 m. Not far from the waterfall there is a lookout and a statue of the Poljica heroine Mila Gojsalić, the work of Croatian sculptor Ivan Meštrović.
- Der Ilinac-Wasserfall oberhalb von Zakučac bei Omis ist der höchste Wasserfall Kroatiens (130 m). Unweit des Wasserfalls befinden sich ein Aussichtspunkt und eine Statue der Poljica-Heldin Mila Gojsalić, das Werk des kroatischen Bildhauers Ivan Meštrović.

Sv. Juraj od Raduna jedna je od rijetkih u cijelosti očuvanih crkava iz ranog srednjeg vijeka. Sagrađena je krajem 10. ili početkom 11.st. Dali su je podići seljani starohrvatskog naselja Radun koji su oko nje formirali svoje groblje. Tu su se ukopi vršili sve do 16. st. kada se naselje premješta na obalu oko kaštela Ćipiko, danas Kaštel Stari. Crkvu okružuju višestoljetne masline.
St. Juraj from Radun is one of a few entirely preserved churches from early medieval period. It was built at the end of the 10th and beginning of 11th century by peasants from an old Croatian village Radun. They have built their cemetery around the church which they used for burials till 16th century when the village was transferred on the coast surrounding the castle of Cippico family today known as Kaštel Stari. The church is surrounded by centuries-old olive trees.
