Kaštela is one of the most beautiful small towns in the region of Dalmatia, and is especially known for its fortresses which were the cradle of today’s Kastela. Kastela are situated in the area between the ruins of the ancient Salona and the outskirts of Trogir and are located at the west from the city of Split. Villages are situated along the coast of the bay Kastela.

From these fortresses 7 villages of Kastela were created: Kaštel Sućurac, Kaštel Gomilica, Kaštel Kambelovac, Kaštel Lukšić, Kaštel Stari, Kaštel Novi and Kaštel Štafilić. Split airport which is located in Kastela is one of the reasons why it is very convenient even for guests who wish to sail the beautiful Adriatic Sea to come to Kastela. 💙
