The interior of Villa Storia tells a somewhat more contemporary story, emphasizing comfort and a feel of elegance with its carefully selected modern elements. The house is full of daylight and open to the exterior, imposed by the feeling that the transition from the interior into the beautiful Mediterranean garden is almost non-existent. It seems as if every corner of the house and garden have na

turally grown just where they should be, complementing harmony dictated by the atmosphere of a small Istrian village. The ground floor has two bedrooms and one bathroom, while on the floor there is another bedroom with bathroom and a living room with kitchen and a toilet. The whole top floor is covered in hardwood parquet, giving the whole area of additional warmth and even stronger connection with nature that surrounds the house. A romantic soul will enjoy almost unreal canopy with dining area, surrounded by curtains that only partially separates this space from the same fairy-tale magic exterior, a garden with a swimming pool, sun deck and a fireplace.

Priča o Villi Storia i mjestu Smolići prava je stara istarska “štorija”, koja počinje poput kakve bajke, na uskom šumskom putu, slijepoj ulici koja vodi do malog, drevnog sela. Svega sedam kamenih kuća postrojeno je i stisnuto poput svjedoka nekog prošlog vremena - vremena koje je u zidovima, konobama i potkrovljima još uvijek dobro sačuvano od zaborava.

The story of Villa Storia and Smolići village is truly an old Istrian fairy tale, that begins on a narrow forest path, a dead-end street that leads to the small, ancient village. With only seven stone houses lined up one next to another, stand like witnesses of past times - the times hidden behind the walls, cellars and attics, still well preserved from oblivion.
