⛰️ Living so close to Učka means adventure is always within reach. Just a couple of hours’ hike from home, and we're surrounded by wild peaks, endless views, and the timeless calm of the mountain.
🍂 In autumn, the landscape transforms with vibrant colors, as if someone spilled the palette of fiery reds, warm oranges, and golden yellows across the hills.
💨 Soon the powerful bura wind will sweep down from Učka, reminding us of winter’s approach, but the calmness of this autumn day will linger in memory long after.
Sooo in love with Nature’s beauty, just beyond our doorstep. 😍💚

I’ve never done this before, so fingers crossed they’re edible! 🤞
But even if not, they look beautiful. I love the variety of shapes and colors! 😍

There’s something magical about gathering olives by hand, knowing they’ll soon become the purest golden oil. Year after year, decade after decade, across three centuries, this house has sheltered generations of olive pickers who cherish this timeless tradition. 🍃✨

No matter how fiercely the maestral wind blows during the afternoon, it always settles down during these times, giving us the chance to pause, take a deep breath, and simply be. 🌅🌊✨

After a day filled with anticipation of a forecasted storm, we are now witnessing the calmest of all the calm evenings of the summer—no breeze, just stillness. 🌅 This might be the peak of the season's heat. 🌞 The days ahead could be turbulent, but for now, it's all about the quiet before the storm.

And those poor bees buzzing around the puddles by the pool? 🐝 Let's hope they find a new hangout spot soon! 😅

And now for something completely different... 🌊 After a boat trip from P**a of just over two hours, we arrived at the beautiful Lošinj Island. This bay is our retreat for today, and it's absolutely stunning. The air may be humid, but the colors are still incredible! 😍✨
