This old suitcase from French producer Au Depart Paris 🗼(aprox 1925), with a fine parchment made originally from the skin of a calf and mahogany wood details, tells us a story about necessity for traveling to U.S.A for work and survival to secure a better future for the children. Today U.S.A does not look so far because of the flight connections and smartphones possibilities, but in that time, we could only imagine how tough it was for people to make a decision to travel across Atlantic in a steam ship, with limited amount of money, scare of the war in that time, to reach the land where they did not know what to expect.
