🍽️ 𝐃'𝐃𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 (𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟐): In the unique ambiance of the historic Dajla Monastery, the D'DINNER will take place.

This is an invitation to a special dinner where you'll have the opportunity to taste extraordinary dishes prepared by top restaurants from Novigrad and the surrounding area: Badi, Čok, Damir & Ornela, Half 8, Morgan, San Rocco, Stari Podrum, and for desserts, Aminess Maestral Hotel.

Each dish will be carefully paired with excellent wines and olive oils from renowned Istrian winemakers and olive growers. 🍽️🍷🍇

Wine harvest season in Istria 🍇

In autumn, winemakers are busy harvesting grapes, and you have the chance to taste the fruits of their labor during the celebration of Martinje.

What is Martinje?
Martinje is a special time of the year, celebrated at the beginning of November. This holiday, dedicated to Saint Martin, marks the end of the vineyard work and the beginning of preparations for winter. Traditionally, winemakers would gather to taste the season’s young wine, turning the event into a festive occasion filled with food, music, and local customs.

If you're a wine lover, visiting Istria during Martinje is a must. Experience the authentic atmosphere of the Istrian countryside and join the locals in celebrating the arrival of the new wine.

This part of Istria boasts a mix of mountain and road cycling routes, and perhaps the most interesting route is the Parenzana bike trail, which follows the path of the old narrow-gauge railway connecting 33 Istrian towns from Trieste to Poreč. 🚂
