They start tomorrow at 8 p.m. and will last until mid-September. Along with Peljesac winemakers, the League against cancer association will sell pastries.

The audience will be entertained by the band Trio Gramophonix in the line-up of Marijeta, Ante and Darijo 🎤🎸🎹

Did you know that probably the oldest astrological board in the world was found in Nakovana?! 🤠🔍

This is an archaeologically protected area, located in the western part of Peljesac. Traces of human existence date back to 6,000 BC. There are two uninhabited villages in this area, and there is a church between them.

On the hill named "Grad" there used to be an Illyrian fortress, they were one of the first inhabitants of Peljesac peninsula. In the cave above the village, the Illyrians closed its opening two thousand years ago, and it was only 25 years ago that archaeologists found it intact for the first time after more then 2000 years of being hidden and closed with a pile of stones.

It was certainly surprising, they found a phallus-shaped stalagmite, probably used in ancient rituals, numerous objects and the oldest zodiac in the world, that is, it is an astrologer's board, and a total of four zodiac signs have been preserved.

In Nakovana, the environment is forest and meadows, and old stone houses. We suggest that you spend your day there and enjoy peace, nature, and a trip to the ancient past 🍀🤓

What are your plans for Labor Day!? 🤓
On the St. Ilija mountain 🍀👣 there is a regular traditional gathering at the "New Mountaineering House" on the 1st of May with baked dried beans for all visitors (it will be served at around noon), fun and games. Families with children of all ages, mountaineers of all age groups and nature lovers are welcome 💚
