If you take an archaeological walk around Vižula, along the promenade, you will follow the road where rich ancient Romans and their distinguished guests used to walk.

Vižula was home to dignitaries, patricians and senators. Istria Tourist Board has been granted the exceptional honour of hosting the prestigious final wine evaluation for the renowned Vinibuoni d'Italia guide! ✨

“We are deeply honoured to further strengthen our long-standing collaboration with Istria,” said Mario Busso, editor of the Vinibuoni d’Italia guide. “Since 2011, the guide has featured a special section devoted to the indigenous varieties of this remarkable region.”

For the first time ever, the Vinibuoni d’Italia guide is holding its final wine selection beyond Italy’s borders, in collaboration with its long-standing partner, the Istria Tourist Board, as well as the Croatian Sommelier Club and Aminess Hotels & Resorts.

The grand finale in Istria will take place on September 12 and 13 at the Aminess Maestral Hotel in Novigrad. ✨

After exploring the 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐣𝐮𝐧𝐢 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤 and 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐊𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐣𝐚𝐤, particularly the protected landscape of Donji Kamenjak (Lower Kamenjak), they were enchanted by the traditional batana boats and a scenic coastal ride along 𝐑𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐣, culminating in a visit to the 𝐕𝐢𝐬̌𝐧𝐣𝐚𝐧 𝐎𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲. The arrival and stay of the filming crew in Istria were orchestrated through the joint efforts of the Croatian National Tourist Board and the Istria Tourist Board, with generous support from local service providers.

Marko Purišić, better known by his stage name is the Croatian representative at this year's Eurovision Song Contest. 🎶🇸🇪🎵

This young talented musician hails from located on the north-western coast of Istria, and he and his song have become a real hit among fans of the competition for the best song in Europe. 🎶💙🎵

Baby Lasagna himself wrote the lyrics and music, and the music video, filmed at several gorgeous locations throughout Istria, was directed by a young artist, his girlfriend Elizabeta Ružić from Kaštelir, another interesting small Istrian town. 💙❤️

The rhythm is catchy so everyone in Croatia already knows the song by heart, and the Eurovision semi-final showed that it has also gained numerous fans across Europe! ❤️💙❤️
