𝟏𝟏 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚:
Nudist Friendly: Croatia is one of the most nudist-friendly countries in the world. Naturism has a long history here, with over 30 designated nudist beaches and numerous unofficial spots.

Golden Horn Shape: Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn) on the island of Brač is famous for its ever-changing shape. The unique spit of land is influenced by tides, currents, and wind, causing its tip to constantly shift and change direction.

Biševo Blue Cave: The Blue Cave on the island of Biševo is a must-see. During certain times of the day, sunlight reflects through the water and illuminates the cave with a mesmerizing blue glow.

Secluded Beach of Stiniva: Located on the island of Vis, Stiniva Beach is hidden between high cliffs, making it accessible only by hiking a narrow path or by boat. This secluded spot was voted Europe's best beach in 2016.

Roman History at Punta Rata: Punta Rata in Brela is home to the famous Brela Stone, a large rock in the sea, and ancient Roman ruins nearby. This beach has also been named one of the most beautiful beaches in the world by Forbes.

Protected Beaches: Many of Croatia's beaches are part of protected natural reserves. For example, Sakarun Beach on Dugi Otok is part of the Telašćica Nature Park, which ensures its pristine condition.

Party Beach Zrće: Zrće Beach on the island of Pag is known as the "Croatian Ibiza." It's famous for its vibrant nightlife, with numerous clubs hosting international DJs and music festivals.

Kamenjak's Dinosaur Footprints: The Kamenjak Peninsula near P**a offers not only beautiful beaches but also ancient dinosaur footprints embedded in the rocks. It's a fascinating site for history enthusiasts and beachgoers alike.

Diving Spots: The waters around Croatian beaches are home to numerous shipwrecks, making it a paradise for divers. Notable wrecks include the Baron Gautsch, an Austrian passenger ship sunk in 1914, near Rovinj.

Pebble Beaches: Unlike many sandy beaches around the world, most Croatian beaches are pebble or rocky. This helps keep the water incredibly clear, providing excellent conditions for snorkeling and swimming.

Lubenice Beach: Located beneath the cliff-top village of Lubenice on the island of Cres, this beach is not easily accessible. It requires a steep hike down, but the effort is rewarded with stunning, uncrowded shores and crystal-clear waters.

Jeste li znali o našem gradu?

Stari je grad sačuvao raspored ulica starorimskog castruma. Glavne su ulice Dekumanus i Cardo Maximus još sačuvane u izvornom drevnom obliku. Marafor je bio rimski trg (forum) s dva hrama. Jedan od njih, podignut u 1. stoljeću, posvećen je rimskom bogu Neptunu, širok je 30 m, a dug 11 m. Sačuvano je par kuća iz romaničkog razdoblja (Romanička kuća na Maraforu), kao i nekoliko divnih mletačkih gotičkih palača.

POREČ: Carinski g*t 1. siječnja odlazi u povijest uz feštu i marendu za sve 🥂🎉

Poreč će, kao turistički grad, na poseban način proslaviti ulazak u Schengensku zonu prvog dana nove 2023. godine. U zajedničkoj organizaciji Turističke zajednice Grada Poreča, Lučke uprave Poreč i Grada Poreča-Parenzo, Carinski g*t na rivi otvorit će se za javnost u nedjelju, 1. siječnja 2023. u 12. 30 sati te će biti organizirana proslava uz besplatnu marendu za sve – pljukance sa šugom od sipa i vinom te živu glazbu.

Na ovaj simboličan način, Poreč kao jedna od top hrvatskih turističkih destinacija, obilježiti ulazak u europsku zonu bez granica. Ulazak u Schengen će se sigurno pozitivno odraziti i na turističke dolaske jer će gužve na graničnim prijelazima biti značajno manje, što za Poreč i Istru, gdje većina gostiju dolazi automobilom, predstavlja značajan iskorak. Dodatno, Carinski g*t, koji zauzima središnju poziciju na gradskoj rivi, dugi je niz godina bio zatvoren za javnost jer je služio kao pomorski granični prijelaz, a ulaskom u Schengensku zonu otvorit će se za javnost i zasigurno postati jedno od omiljenih okupljališta Porečana, ali i gostiju.

Upravo zato, pozivam vas sve da se pridružite ovoj fešti te da se zajedničkom zdravicom i marendom proslavi ova povijesna odluka kako za naš grad, tako i za cijelu zemlju.
